With almost 400 members, the club boasts a large membership of committed keen individuals that make the club a success. We have a wide range of experience from those with decades of experience sailing all over the world to those who are new to boating.
The club has three active sections, a yacht sailing section, a dinghy sailing section and a rowing section. Additionally we have lively groups of fishermen and motorboats of all sizes.
The yacht sailing section meet every Thursday evening in the club bar from 20:00, and in Summer months sail beforehand from 17:30 either within the Bay or out in the Bristol Channel as the tide allows. We have regular cruises in company and other events for members to enjoy such as the Blue Book Challenge. Click here to see where members have sailed to recently.
The dinghy section is run by a variety of dinghy sailors who meet in the club bar on Wednesdays from 20:00 after sailing from 17:30. The dinghy section has it’s own website here.
The rowing section, Cardiff City Rowing Club, is an enthusiastic group who train at all hours and have achieved an impressive haul of medals over the years. The rowing sections website can be found here.
